“The sky is a central element in my imagination, just like the earth and the sea. I am fascinated by its many paradoxes and contrasts. The starry nights, which have served as guides for travellers for ages, still remain full of mystery. The stars only reveal all the intensity of their light amidst the deep darkness of the night. I wanted to pay a tribute to this complex astral world through CÉLESTE: diamonds must appear to be floating, just like stars, held by invisible frames. The gemstones must allude to the subtle and unique colours of the celestial bodies. The creations must be as pure and magnificent as the pristine skies I contemplate in my Sanctuary in Brittany.”
